- What file types can I upload for an instant quote?
- STL and 3MF are priced automatically: we read the geometry and compute volume, bounding box and triangle count in your browser. STEP, STP and OBJ are accepted too, but enter the part volume manually or send the file with your enquiry and we will price it by hand.
- How much does a print cost?
- Small commodity FDM parts start from A$15. Price is driven by real material volume, machine time, infill, wall thickness, finishing and quantity, and the itemised breakdown is shown with every quote. Resin, SLS and metal parts cost more because the material and machine time cost more.
- What are your lead times?
- In-house processes are quickest: FDM typically queues about 1 day and SLA resin about 2 days, plus build and finishing time. SLS nylon runs to roughly 24 days and DMLS metal to roughly 35 days, because those are produced through specialist partners. Every quote shows a realistic dispatch date before you order, and a rush slot is available for a 30% surcharge.
- Which materials do you offer?
- FDM in PLA, PETG, ABS and ASA; engineering filaments including carbon-fibre nylon; SLA and DLP in standard and tough resin; SLS in PA12 nylon; and DMLS metal in stainless steel 316L, aluminium AlSi10Mg and titanium. If you are not sure what suits the part, send it through and we will recommend a process.
- Is there a minimum order?
- No minimum order. We quote single prototype parts as readily as production batches, and there is a A$15 per-part floor so very small jobs still cover setup.
- Do you ship Australia-wide?
- Yes. Standard Australia Post freight applies and is free on orders over A$200. Courier costs are calculated at production confirmation. Local pickup in Melbourne is available if you would rather collect.
- Who owns the IP, and will you sign an NDA?
- You do. Your design remains yours, and we sign an NDA before you send anything if you want one. Files and production stay onshore in Australia rather than being routed to an overseas bureau.
- Do you offer volume discounts?
- Yes. Setup is charged once per job rather than per part, and unit price steps down automatically as quantity rises, from 10 parts upward. The quote applies the discount for you as you change quantity.
